White County Rural Electric Membership Corporation (REMC) is a non-profit electric utility serving 7,943 households, farms, schools and businesses in White County, the southern half of Pulaski County and parts of Carroll, Cass, Benton, Jasper and Tippecanoe counties.

Founded in 1939, White County REMC celebrated its 66th year in business during 2005. The theme of the 2006 Annual Meeting – Investing in the Future – signifies the strong commitment that we continue to make in building a better quality of life for our members. White County REMC invests in the future in many varied ways. First and foremost, we continue to upgrade our electrical system. Over time, technology has changed drastically and we put our resources to work for our members. We continue to put state-of-the-art technology in the field so that we can provide even better service to our nearly 8,000 members.
