AVAILABILITY:
Available in all territory served by the Corporation, in accordance with the Corporation's Service Rules and Regulations. This rate schedule will serve single-phase member/consumers. White County REMC Cooperative has a limited amount of Green Power and purchases will be on a first sign-up first serve agreement.
DEFINITION OF GREEN POWER:
Green, renewable power is generated from resources that don't run out, or are quickly renewed through natural processes. Renewable power includes power generated from wind, solar, geothermal, biomass and small hydroelectric sources. Renewable electricity technologies are among the cleanest and have the least impact on the environment. That's why renewable power is sometimes referred to as "green " power.
APPLICABILITY:
Applicable only for farm and home use and use incidental thereto supplied through one meter to each individual dwelling unit, or to any single phase business enterprise, institution or organization. The Green Power Rate G-2 adds $.009 per kWh to the existing General Service Rate R-5.
TYPE OF SERVICE:
Single phase, 60 Hertz, at the following standard voltages: 120/240, 240/480.
